HOKE Ball Valves: Sourcing and Technical Questions

The maximum pressure rating is 3,000 psig (207 bar) W.O.G. on the 7520F and 7520G in 1/4" to 1/2" sizes. The 7510 across all sizes and the 7520F/G in 3/4" to 1" sizes are rated to 2,000 psig (138 bar) W.O.G.

The temperature range runs from -200°F to 500°F (-129°C to 260°C) on the 7510 with reinforced PTFE seat, and from -200°F to 600°F (-129°C to 316°C) on the 7520F and 7520G with TFM4215 seat.

HOKE uses ASTM A351-CF8M / 316 cast stainless steel for body, ball and end cap, and ASTM A276-316 for the stem across all three series.

The 7510 is a two-piece standard port valve with NPT threads. The 7520F is a three-piece full port valve with NPT threads. The 7520G carries the same three-piece full port body with Gyrolok tube fittings instead of NPT threads.

We supply high-tolerance NPT threads on the 7510 and 7520F, and Gyrolok tube fittings in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" on the 7520G.

We stock the 7510 from 1/4" to 2" (eight sizes), and the 7520F and 7520G from 1/4" to 1" (five sizes each).

The 7510 carries reinforced PTFE seats. The 7520F and 7520G carry TFM4215 seats.

HOKE's high-tolerance NPT thread engages 5 to 6 threads when fully tightened. A standard ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 NPT thread engages 3 to 4 threads, so the HOKE specification gives close to double the engagement.
