Oliver Gauge Block Monoflange Valves

  • Function: Works downstream of a pre-installed primary isolate valve to provide compact instrument double block and bleed valving.
  • Configurations: Block (BK), Block and Bleed (BB), Double Block and Bleed (DBB).
  • Valve Pattern: Needle pattern primary isolate, secondary isolate, and bleed valves. Standard or heavy duty needle valves available depending on the duty, with Heavy Duty bonnets available as the HD option.
  • Body Materials: 316 stainless steel (BS970-316S11 barstock / ASTM A182 F316 forged), 080M40 carbon steel barstock (EN8), ASTM A350 LF2 forged carbon steel, Duplex F51 (UNS S31803), Super Duplex (UNS S32760), Monel 400, Ferralium 255.
  • Flange Sizes: 1/2", 1 1/2", 2", and 3".
  • Flange Classes: ASME 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500, and 2500.

  • Sealing: PTFE packing standard, graphite packing available for high temperature service.

Oliver Slimline Primary Isolate Monoflange Valves

  • Function: Replaces the traditional primary isolate valve and instrument hook-up with one assembly that combines an outside screw and yoke (GOSY) primary isolate with secondary isolate and bleed.
  • Design Code: GOSY primary isolate designed to ASME VIII.
  • Configurations: Block (BK), Block and Bleed (BB), Double Block and Bleed (DBB), shown in the catalogue as a standard configuration with an outside screw and yoke needle primary isolate and inside screw and yoke needle valves for secondary isolate and bleed.
  • Body Materials: 316 stainless steel (BS970-316S11 barstock / ASTM A182 F316 forged), carbon steel barstock EN8, ASTM A350 LF2 forged carbon steel, Duplex F51 (UNS S31803), Super Duplex (UNS S32760), Monel 400, Ferralium 255.

  • The difference is where the primary isolation sits. The Gauge Block Monoflange works downstream of an existing primary isolate valve and handles only the instrument-side block and bleed, while the Slimline Monoflange replaces the primary isolate itself by integrating an outside screw and yoke first isolate with secondary isolate and bleed in one body.

  • Flange sizes are stocked from 1/2" up to 3" in ASME pressure Classes 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500, and 2500, with RTJ, RF, or SRF flange faces machined to ASME B16.5.
